Kadidiri

Small island with house reefs, WWII wreck, and the longest beach in the Togeans.

Snapshot

Ideal Timing

Ideal transit point before Una-Una

Duration

1-2 days.

Pairs Well With
Una UnaBomba

Why it matters

  • House reef snorkeling directly from the beach with coral gardens and turtles.
  • Perfect transit spot before heading to Una Una and its volcanic caldera.
Coral reef with fish schools off Kadidiri beach

House reef snorkeling

Walk straight into the water from the beach and swim over coral gardens with dense fish populations. Turtles pass through regularly, reef sharks cruise the deeper edges, and the shallows stay calm most days. Easy access, good visibility, no boat needed.

B-24 bomber wreck underwater

Known for the B-24 wreck

Kadidiri's reputation centers on the B-24 Liberator wreck, despite the site being an hour south by boat and more easily accessed from Togean Island's southern coast. The WWII bomber rests intact at 15 meters, its fuselage and wings encrusted with coral. One of the archipelago's signature dives.
